Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov and his Czech counterpart Mirek Topolánek discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation.

“Today we have discussed a number of important issues pertaining to bilateral ties between the two nations and relations between Kazakhstan and the EU. There is a vast potential to be unleashed in this realm. We have discussed both general policy and specific projects”, K. Massimov said.

“The second package of issues was no less important. The Czech Republic now presides over the EU; the EU is the largest trade partner and consumer of hydrocarbons”, K. Massimov added.
