Kazakhstan’s PM Karim Massimov meets Richard A. Boucher, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs
Today at the Government’s House in Astana, Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Richard A. Boucher, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs.
The sides discussed a range of issues on developing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the USA, as well as on expanding the economic ties between the two nations.
“We are looking forward to the upcoming PM’s visit to Washington to further discuss investments and many other economic issues, as well as to sign agreements in the form of public-private partnerships. Expansion of PPP will ensure new opportunities to develop the economy and will have a positive effect on the investment climate in Kazakhstan”, Richard A. Boucher noted.
Karim Massimov noted that Kazakhstan as the largest trade and investment partner of the USA in Central Asia will further adhere to the principles of healthy, open and positive partnership cooperation.
The sides pointed to the continuous progress reached in bilateral relations of the two nations and expressed hope for further development of the relationship.
