Kazakhstan and Canada discuss bilateral cooperation

Prime Minister Karim Massimov of Kazakhstan met Margaret Skok, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. In the course of the meeting the sides discussed bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Canada.

Canada is one of the much-promising partners of Kazakhstan. This is testified to by the ever growing trade turnover. Thus, in 2007 alone bilateral trade turnover grew almost 1.5 times to reach USD 600 million. Mutual investments for the same period totaled USD 270 million.
