Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister meets EBRD Business Group Director for South Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus
February 16 at the Government’s House in Astana Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Olivier Descamps, EBRD Business Group Director, South Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
In the course of the talks the sides discussed cooperation between Kazakhstan and EBRD. In particular, they dwelt on possible involvement of EBRD into industrialization, diversification and innovation-driven development efforts within the frameworks of the state-run program of accelerated industrialization for 2010-2014 and a program to support private entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan.
Besides, they discussed holding the 20th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors in Astana in 2011.
When closing the talks, both Karim Massimov and Olivier Descamps expressed confidence in further successful cooperation between Kazakhstan and EBRD.
