Kazakhstan Finance Minister meets Lord Mayor of the City of London
At the Kazakh Ministry of Finance, Finance Minister Natalia Korzhova met John Stuttard, Lord Mayor of the City of London.
At the Kazakh Ministry of Finance, Finance Minister Natalia Korzhova met John Stuttard, Lord Mayor of the City of London.
At the meeting, John Stuttard pointed out to the necessity to increase the quota for foreign specialists in view of the current deficit of highly-qualified auditors and appraisers [complaint with international standards] in Kazakhstan. As Dr. Christopher Gibson-Smith, Chairman of the London Stock Exchange, noted that apart from Kazakh mining and banking companies that have already run their IPOs, as the Kazakh economy grows the City of London “will be interested to see Kazakh companies operating with real estate and retailers”.
