Kazakh PM Karim Massimov meets Gregory Rapota, Eurasian Economic Community Secretary General

Today in the Government House, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Gregory Rapota, Eurasian Economic Community Secretary General.



Today in the Government House, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Gregory Rapota, Eurasian Economic Community Secretary General.

In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed prospects of strengthening of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.

According to G. Rapota, April 18, 2007 Astana will host a sitting of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community. The sitting will focus on a wide range of issues related to further development of the Eurasian Economic Community and interaction among the member states.

”Kazakhstan is our strategic partner and we have been closely cooperating with you within the Eurasian Economic Community. There are still some issues to be resolved, but there have been no disputes whatsoever”, G. Rapota emphasized.
