”I instruct to prepare the state-owned 0.8% stake in the ENRC for sales to general public”, K. Massimov said in the course of a special conference call. “We need to ensure maximum coverage of the issue – it should be closely monitored, including by the akims, so that as many people as possible could purchase the shares”.
”I also instruct the holding companies “Samruk”, “Kazyna”, and “KazAgro” to provide concrete proposals to the Government within a week’s time on their respective stakes that could be also sold to general public”, K. Massimov added. Prime Minister stressed that the task of developing the stock market has been set more than once, but “the result remains more than modest so far”.
