At the 10th ECO summit of Heads of State and Heads of Governments in Tehran Kazakhstan’s PM Karim Massimov meets President G. Berdymukhamedov of Turkmenistan
The sides discussed a number of issues pertaining to development of relations between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
March 11 at the 10th ECO summit of Heads of State and Heads of Governments in Tehran Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov of Turkmenistan.
The sides discussed a number of issues pertaining to development of relations between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
They reiterated common interests at region-scale and international levels, as well as readiness for full-fledged close cooperation in all realms.
Besides, K. Massimov and G. Berdymukhamedov detailedly discussed the project to construct the railway Uzen-Gorgan link and expressed interest to soonest implementation of agreements reached among Heads of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran on the issue.
In the course of the talks, they also dwelt on construction of the Pre-Caspian gas pipeline. The sides noted that “everything is in line with the schedule, and there should not be any problems in implementing the project”.
