Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and China discuss bilateral cooperation
March 30 in the state residence of Diaoyutai in Beijing Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Marat Tazhin who is in China on an official visit met Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
In his welcoming speech, Minister Tazhin highlighted the high level of interaction between Kazakhstan and China, pointing to the regular reciprocal visits of the two Heads of State. He also expressed gratitude to Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi for his positive approach when attending to international issues.
In his turn, Yang Jiechi noted that the current visit of his Kazakhstan’s counterpart testifies to special attention attached by the Kazakhstan’s Government to development of bilateral ties with China, is of paramount importance to expand cooperation and secures practical content of strategic cooperation relations between the two nations.
In the course of negotiations the sides dwelt on a raft of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian realms, as well as implementation of agreements reached at the high level.
