Kazakhstan exports 5 million tons of grain
In the current marketing year, Kazakhstan has exported 5 million tons of grain, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev told journalists today.
“As of the start of March, exports stand at 5 million tons. This figure is set to grow”, the Minister said.
Grain harvest in 2010 totaled 12.2 million tons (net weight).
Grain harvest of 2009 made up 22.7 million tons (bunker weight).
