Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov started his two-day official visit to Georgia.
While in Tbilisi, Head of the Kazakh Government met Georgian leadership –President Mikhail Saakashvili, Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli, and Parliament President Nino Burdzhanadze.
At the meetings, the sides discussed prospects for further development of bilateral relations, Kazakh investments into the Georgian economy in particular. In Tbilisi, Kazakhstan’s companies made presentations of their investments projects to be implemented in Georgia.
In the afternoon, the Kazakh delegation headed by PM Massimov will visit the cities of Kutaisi, Poti, Kobuleti and Batumi. K. Massimov will visit Kazakhstan’s investments sites in Kobuleti, as well as the oil terminal and sea merchant port in Batumi. At the sea port of Poti, the Kazakh delegation will visit the new grain terminal construction site.
The same day the Kazakh PM K. Massimov will return to Astana.
