Kazakhstan Foreign Minister meeting OSCE Chairman-in-Office
In Astana, Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Marat Tazhin met Miguel Ángel Moratinos, OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Foreign Minister of Spain.

In Astana, Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Marat Tazhin met Miguel Ángel Moratinos, OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Foreign Minister of Spain.
In his welcoming speech, Head of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry noted that the visit of Mr. Moratinos would enable to discuss a wide range of issues, and expressed hope that the busy schedule of meetings would add to the fruitful dialogue.
In his turn, OSCE Chairman-in-Office stressed that the OSCE always seeks to cultivate atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust. “Though we are in a distance from each other, this doesn’t imply that we are not members of one family”, Mr. Moratinos said. “OSCE success depends on successes of its each individual member state”.
Today OSCE Chairman-in-Office is expected to meet Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Senate Speaker Kasymzhomart Tokayev, Majilis President Oral Mukhamedzhanov, and Defense Minister Daniyal Akhmetov.
