Today Kazakh Prime-Minister Karim Massimov has held extended and restricted-attendance talks with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov in the Government House of the Russian Federation.

Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov introduced the draft state program of “30 Corporate Leaders” to President Nazarbayev.

”112” emergency service phone number will be launched as a pilot project in Astana, said Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov at a Government sitting.

The State Committee for Language policy held its regular sitting chaired by the Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov. At the sitting, heads of central and local executive power bodies reported on implementation of the language policy and of the State Program for Languages Development.

Today at the Government’s House, Kazakhstan Prime Minister met H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, National Security Minister of Kuwait and President of Olympic Council of Asia.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed development of bilateral cooperation in the realm of fuel and energy. In particular, they dwelt on the agreement regulating participation of Kazakh companies in large-scaled energy projects of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

During his two days working visit to Atyrau oblast Karim Massimov, Prime-Minister of Kazakhstan, familiarized himself with Agip’s Caspian shelf development drilling program.

In the course of his working visit to Atyrau oblast, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov visited Bolashak Onshore Processing Facility being constructed 35 km away from the city of Atyrau.

Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov met World Bank delegation headed by Annette Dickson, WB Regional Director for Central Asia.

According to K. Massimov, new approaches to budget-planning should be introduced stagedly. Pilot projects will be launched in the Ministries of Economy and Budget Planning, Finance, Justice, Healthcare, and Education and Science.
