Toady Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov has left for Turkmenistan on an official visit.
In the course of the visit, K. Massimov is to meet Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and Tachberdy Tagyev, Vice Head of the Turkmen Cabinet.
Head of the Kazakh Government is expected to visit the grave of Saparmurad Niyazov, first President of the independent Turkmenistan, to lay flowers.
The accompanying Kazakh delegation comprises Baktykozha Izmukhambetov, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources; Galym Orazbekov, Minister of Industry and Trade; Serik Akhmetov, Minister of Transport and Communications; Kairat Kelimbetov, Chair of the Bord of the Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund; and Uzakbai Karabalin, President of the KazMunaiGaz National Oil Company.
