Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov met World Bank delegation headed by Annette Dickson, WB Regional Director for Central Asia.
The sides exchanged their views of the status of initiatives set forth in memoranda signed between Kazakhstan and the World Bank. They also discussed major aspects of the draft program of joint economic studies for 2008 fiscal year and prospects for implementation of promising investment projects in various reams of the economy, in particular in the spheres of healthcare, customs service, education, and technology commercialization.
Head of the Kazakh Government commissioned leadership of respective ministries and governmental agencies to boost cooperation with the World Bank and “within reasonably shortest time, upon completion of lengthy talks to commence implementation of concrete projects”.
