Kazakhstan Prime Minister meeting National Security Minister of Kuwait
Today at the Government’s House, Kazakhstan Prime Minister met H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, National Security Minister of Kuwait and President of Olympic Council of Asia.
Today at the Government’s House, Kazakhstan Prime Minister met H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, National Security Minister of Kuwait and President of Olympic Council of Asia.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed preparations for the Asian Winter Games to be held in Almaty in 2011.
Besides, the sides exchanged their views on a wide range of issues of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Kuwait.
”The time has come to bring cooperation in the realms of politics, economy, trade, and culture to a higher level. I would want to note that we plan to inaugurate Embassy of Kuwait in Kazakhstan in the near future”, H.E. Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said.
Kuwait businessmen are already working in Kazakhstan, mainly in the energy sector.
According to K. Massimov, “there’s a need to increase the number of Kazakhstani- Kuwaiti joint ventures, and not only in the energy sector but in other sectors as well”.
Following the meeting, Kazakh PM Karim Massimov invited Prime Minister of Kuwait to come to Kazakhstan on a visit.
