Kazakhstan and Spain sign a number of bilateral documents
July 2 Astana hosted signing of a number of bilateral documents between Kazakhstan and Spain following the 4th sitting of the Kazakh-Spanish Committee for Economic and Industrial Cooperation.
Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Marat Tazhin and his Spanish counterpart Miguel Angel Moratinos signed an Agreement on Strategic Cooperation between the two nations and a Convention to exclude double taxation and prevent tax evasion.
Besides, Kazakhstan’s Education Minister Zhanseit Tuimenbayev and Miguel Angel Moratinos signed an intergovernmental Program of cooperation in education and science for 2009-2011.
There was also an MoU signed between the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain and the Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Tourism and Sport; on behalf of Kazakhstan the memorandum was signed by Tourism Vice Minister Kairbek Uskenbayev.
