Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister meets representatives of the Russia's Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center
July 8 Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met representatives of the Russia's Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, including the Center’s Director General Vladislav Nesterov.
The sides dwelt on a wide range of issues on further cooperation to create KazSat-2 space vehicle.
V. Nesterov briefed on important technical and legal agreements to create and launch the Kazakh geostationary satellite.
Head of the Russian Company emphasized that acceptance requirements have been toughened and the defects liability period – throughout which the developers have to fully control the satellite and manage it in contingency events - has been prolonged.
