Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister meets representatives of ThyssenKrupp AG
August 18 at the Government’s House in Astana, Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met representatives of the German group ThyssenKrupp AG headed by Mr. Ekkehard D. Schulz, Chairman of the Executive Board.
The sides discussed prospects of further cooperation in terms of investments into innovation industries. The German delegation spoke high of the Kazakhstan’s investment climate.
“In Kazakhstan, we see prospects not only for processing industries; we want to participate in infrastructure projects. We want to be investors and partners”, Mr. Schulz said.
According to Prime Minister Massimov, Kazakhstan is interested in the company’s investments proposals.
“The Government supports innovation-driven development. We hope that ThyssenKrupp AG will be a good partner for Kazakhstan”, Prime Minister said.
ThyssenKrupp AG is involved in a project to construct a silicon-making plant in Kazakhstan. ThyssenKrupp AG has subsidiaries in 75 countries and employs about 200000 people.
