Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov meets US State Department Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar

Today at the Government’s House in Astana Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met US State Department Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar.

At the talks they dwelt on further expanding of interaction between the USA and Kazakhstan, notably in the realm of energy.

Richard Morningstar noted that the forthcoming energy summit to be attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan is of great interest to the USA.

When closing the talks, the sides reiterated willingness to further strengthen cooperation between the two nations.
