Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov meets Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao in Beijin

Today in Beijin Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.
The sides exchanged their opinions on issues of mutual interest. In particular, they dwelt on O&G cooperation.
Commenting on taken decisions and agreements signed to boost capacities of the Kazakh-China oil pipeline from 10 to 20 million tons of oil a year and construct the 2nd stage of Beineu-Bozoi gas pipeline, Wen Jiabao noted that “these days Kazakhstan and China have made great steps to expand cooperation”.
“Long-term bilateral relations in the O&G sector is a sign of political understanding between Kazakhstan and China”, he emphasized.
The sides also dwelt on prospects of non-extraction projects, including in such spheres as finance and rational use of transborder rivers.
