November 23, 2009 in the course of his working visit to Hong Kong Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang.
In the course of the meeting they discussed strengthening ties between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong and extending cooperation in trade and economic realm.
The sides pointed to the necessity to sign an agreement on visa-free travel for businessmen of both Kazakhstan and Hong Kong and to launch direct flights.
Karim Massimov invited Donald Tsang to visit Kazakhstan.
