Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov meets EBRD President Thomas Mirow
The sides discussed the current state of the global economy, prospects of the Kazakhstan’s economy, and cooperation between Kazakhstan and EBRD.
Today at the Government’s House in Astana, Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met EBRD President Thomas Mirow.
The sides discussed the current state of the global economy, prospects of the Kazakhstan’s economy, and cooperation between Kazakhstan and EBRD.
Besides, they exchanged their views on efforts taken by the Kazakhstan’s Government to stabilize the economy.
“I believe that the measures outlined in the Government’s [Stabilization] Program are right, and EBRD will be doing everything possible to support its implementation”, Thomas Mirow said.
EBRD President stressed that “The entire world is facing a tough situation, but we are confident that Kazakhstan has good preconditions to overcome the crisis. The time has come for very important decisions. I am glad we have had positive dialogue with the Prime Ministers and our colleagues”.
Both Karim Massimov and Thomas Mirow expressed confidence in further productive cooperation.
