Kazakhstan plans to complete bilateral talks on accession into the WTO by the year end, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zhanar Aitzhanova told journalists today.
During German Chancellor Angela Merkel's first ever visit to Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan and Germany signed 34 agreements totally worth Euro 2 billion. This was announced by Kazakhstan’s First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technology Albert Rau.
This year Kazakhstan plans grain harvest of 14.5-15.5 million tons, this was announced by Vice Minister of Agriculture Arman Evniyev.
Following the sitting of the Customs Union Governing Body held May 28, 2010 in Saint Petersburg, Kazakhstan and Russia signed an ultimate agreement enforcing agreements drafted earlier with the purpose of establishing the Customs Union.
The two parties discussed joint investments initiatives and specific projects in various sectors of the economy.
