Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov meets ADB Vice President Xiaoyu Zhao
December 3 at the Government’s House in Astana Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met ADB Vice President Xiaoyu Zhao.
The sides discussed the current state of the global economy, as well as prospects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and ADB.
Xiaoyu Zhao told that ADB plans to expand its presence in Kazakhstan. He noted that ADB intends not only to contribute to drafting a program of accelerated industrial development of the Kazakh economy, but also to finance the projects. Besides, ADB had decided to participate in the project to reconstruct Aktau-Beineu motor road.
Xiaoyu Zhao reiterated ADB’s readiness to render technical support to and facilitate private-public partnership in Kazakhstan.
When closing the meeting, Karim Massimov and Xiaoyu Zhao expressed confidence in further fruitful cooperation between Kazakhstan and ADB.
