Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov ordered to establish tighter control over license holders in the realm of electric power industry.

This afternoon, at an extended sitting of the Nur-Otan People’s Democratic Party fraction, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev read a draft law on early dissolution of the 3rd Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament.

At a joint sitting, Kazakh Parliament approved in the first reading a draft law “On amendments and addenda into the law on the 2007 central budget”.

At today’s Government sitting, Talgat Musabayev, Head of the Kazakh National Space Agency, made a presentation of the State Strategy to Set up Space Industry in Kazakhstan and plans to reform state regulation of the sector’s development.

At the Government House, Prime Minister Karim Massimov of Kazakhstan met Richard Boucher, US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs.

Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov introduced the draft state program of “30 Corporate Leaders” to President Nazarbayev.

Today at the Government’s House, Kazakhstan Prime Minister met H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, National Security Minister of Kuwait and President of Olympic Council of Asia.

In the course of his working visit to Atyrau oblast, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov visited Bolashak Onshore Processing Facility being constructed 35 km away from the city of Atyrau.

Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov reported on the administrative reform at special hearings at the Majilis (lower chamber).

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed a package of amendments into the Kazakh Constitution for consideration of the Parliament.
