Today the Kazakh Government confirmed by the newly elected Majilis held its fist sitting chaired by the nation’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov.

“To ensure further development, we need to integrate and use our spare capacities for the benefit of the entire Central Asia; in particular, I am talking of potential electric power generating capacities of Tajikistan”, Akil Akilov said following the talks.

Kazkahstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov instructed the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to take measures regarding the subsurface users breaching the environment legislation and non-fulfilling the earlier undertaken obligations at Kashagan oilfield.

The two delegations headed by the Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov and President Hu Jintao of China discussed a wide range of issues related to trade and economic ties as well as on border cooperation between the two nations.
