Foreign Ministers of Russia and Kazakhstan approved of a joint plan of actions for 2008
Today in Astana Foreign Ministers Marat Tazhin of Kazakhstan and Sergei Lavrov of Russia signed a joint plan of actions for 2008.
The figure was announced today by the Kazakh Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Galym Orazbakov at a SCO ministerial meeting on foreign trade.
Oct. 29 Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov of Russia is to come to Kazakhstan on an official visit. This was announced today at a weekly briefing at the Kazakh Foreign Ministry by the ministry’s spokesman Mr. Erzhan Ashikbayev.

On Sunday Naples hosted the XXI annual international forum ‘Meeting of Prayer for Peace of World Religions’.
The event was attended by representatives of 200 confessions; among those in attendance was a Kazakh delegation headed by Kasymzhomart Tokayev, Kazakh Senate Speaker and Chair of the Secretariat of the Congress of World Religions.
