New governor of the South Kazakhstan oblast appointed
Mr. Nurgali Ashimov has been appointed the new akim (regional governor) of the South Kazakhstan oblast. The new akim has been introduced by the Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov to the local bodies.
Mr. Baktykozha Izmukhambetov has been appointed the new governor of West Kazakhstan. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has introduced the new governor to the oblast’s local bodies.
Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov introduced Mr. Kanat Bozumbayev as the new head of Samruk Holding Company for State Assets Management.
Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov has introduced Mr. Sauat Mynbayev as the new minister of energy and mineral resources.

Prime Minister Karim Massimov met his Tajikistan’s counterpart Akil Akilov today
“To ensure further development, we need to integrate and use our spare capacities for the benefit of the entire Central Asia; in particular, I am talking of potential electric power generating capacities of Tajikistan”, Akil Akilov said following the talks.
