At the second reading, the Kazakh Parliament has passed today the package of amendments into the national Constitution proposed by President N. Nazarbayev.

Following the much-spoken-about summit, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan agreed to overhaul the worn-out Caspian gas pipe and construct a new parallel one.
Galym Orazbakov, Kazakhstan Minister of Industry and Trade, announced drafting of the State Program of Housing Construction for 2008-2010. The draft will be submitted to the Government in May.
