This afternoon, at an extended sitting of the Nur-Otan People’s Democratic Party fraction, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev read a draft law on early dissolution of the 3rd Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament.
Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed amendments and addenda into the Law on the Government to bring the said law in line with the newly amended Constitution and facilitate administrative reforms.
At a joint sitting, Kazakh Parliament approved in the first reading a draft law “On amendments and addenda into the law on the 2007 central budget”.
The Kazakh Constitutional Council announced its ruling on the request of a group of Majilis deputies to provide official legal construction of some clauses of the newly amended Constitution in the context of the enactment of the Law on Inserting Amendments and Addenda into the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of May 21, 2007.
Mr. Kairat Kelimbetov, Head of the Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund, told a briefing today that applications for participation in the state-run “Thirty Corporate Leaders” Program would be accepted before Nov. 1, 2007.
