Today at the Government House Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov met a governmental delegation of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan headed by Ahmad Zia Masood, Vice President of Afghanistan.
The Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade forecasts that by 2015 external trade will reach at least USD 200 billion. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Galym Orazbekov at a dedicated forum on enhancement of competitive ability and export potential.
According to Vice Minister of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning Mr. Aslan Musin, a key speaker at the sitting, budget revenues in the current year will grow by KZT 76.5 billion to make up KZT 2 trillion 35.2 billion.

Space Industry Development Strategy Demands KZT 38.6 billion per year

State Program to shift to digital TV to be drafted before July 1
Ermukhambet Ertysbayev, Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information, announced at a Government sitting that a draft program to accommodate smooth shift to digital TV would be prepared before July 1.
The issue of including Kazakh cosmonauts into international space crew can be considered starting from 2010, Head of the Kazakh Space Agency Mr. Talgat Musabayev told journalists.

Project to develop Ishim space system to be closed down
At a Government sitting, Mr. Talgat Musabayev, Head of the Kazakh National Space Agency, suggested closing down the project to develop the Ishim space system (designed to launch small low-orbit civilian satellites).
