Head of Kazakhstan Government orders to galvanize cooperation with the World Bank under concrete projects
Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov met World Bank delegation headed by Annette Dickson, WB Regional Director for Central Asia.
According to K. Massimov, new approaches to budget-planning should be introduced stagedly. Pilot projects will be launched in the Ministries of Economy and Budget Planning, Finance, Justice, Healthcare, and Education and Science.

Administrative reforms to transform the public administration system
Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov reported on the administrative reform at special hearings at the Majilis (lower chamber).
Introduction of strategic planning into the wok of public bodies will facilitate achievement of strategic goals in the nation’s development and will support further enhancement of public administration quality. This was announced today at the Majilis hearings by Karim Massimov, Kazakhstan Prime Minister.

Kazakh Parliament passes amendments into national constitution in second reading
At the second reading, the Kazakh Parliament has passed today the package of amendments into the national Constitution proposed by President N. Nazarbayev.
