Today at the Government’s House in Astana Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met Mohammad Hamid Ansari, Vice President of India.
The sides discussed cooperation in the realm of railways development and electric power industry.
Kazakhstan’s PM briefed his counterpart on the current political and socio-economic reforms, as well as on programs to develop high-tech and industrial sectors, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
The Project seeks to improve standard of living of the fishing communities in the northern Aral Sea basin through developing business opportunities of the local fishermen: training in joint resource management, construction of mobile fishing camps, fish processing.
In the course of the meeting the sides discussed bilateral relations in trade-and-economic realm.
Minister of Environment Nurlan Iskakov met leaders of ENI, Kashagan operator.
