May 6, Berlin hosted the 4th sitting of the Intergovernmental Kazakh-German Working Group for Trade and Economic Cooperation. The Kazakh delegation was headed by Albert Rau, Kazakhstan’s First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technology, while the German side was represented by Dr. Karl-Ernst Brauner, Vice Minister of Economic Affairs and Technology.
The sides discussed prospects of bilateral trade and economic ties, notably Kazakhstan’s investments into the Georgian economy and further expanding of cooperation in transport, energy and infrastructure.
April 22, on the second day of the state visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to South Korea, Governments of Kazakhstan and South Korea signed a number of bilateral documents.
