Aryn Yerlan Mukhtaruly
Aryn Yerlan Mukhtaruly was born on September 23, 1961 in Almaty.
He is Doctor of Economics, professor.
In 1983 he graduated from Kazakh State University of Kirov.
Aryn started his professional career as an intern-researcher of Kazakh Pedagogical Institute of Abay in Almaty.
From 1985 to 1992 – a graduate student, researcher, scientific secretary, doctoral candidate of the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakh SSR.
From 1992 to 1993 – deputy director of the Center for Strategic Research of Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 1993 to 1994 – first deputy director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 1994 to 1997 – the president of the Institute for Development of Kazakhstan.
From 1997 to 2001 – vice minister of education, culture and health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, vice minister of health, education and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, first vice minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since February, 2001 – rector of Pavlodar State University of S.Toraigyrov”.
Since January, 20, 2012 – akim of Pavlodar region.
Aryn Yerlan Mukhtaruly is a holder of the orders “Kurmet”, “Parasat”, State Prize “Daryn”. He is the honorary citizen of Pavlodar region, honorary man of Bayanaul area.
Yerlan Mukhtaruly is the author of 250 works, among them – encyclopedias, monographs, dictionaries and articles published in foreign journals and magazines.
He is married and has two children.
